Why is there condensation in the lid of my Matic?

Why Does Condensation Happen?

It's not abnormal for some condensation to form on the inside of the lid, especially if you've recently used the mopping function and have had your Matic shut down for an extended period of time. This happens because:

1. Moisture Absorption: When Matic mops, it vacuums up the dirty water into the HEPA bag.
2. Shutdown and Evaporation: After you turn off Matic, the water in the bag begins to evaporate.
3. Limited Ventilation: With the robot turned off, there's less air circulation, allowing moisture to build up on the lid.

How to Prevent and Resolve Condensation

To minimize condensation and keep your Matic running smoothly:

1. Extended Shutdown: If you're not using Matic for an extended period and have it turned off, leave the lid open to prevent moisture buildup.
2. Wipe Down the Lid: If condensation does form, simply wipe it down with a dry cloth.
3. Air it Out: As a precautionary measure, once you've wiped down the lid, keep it open for a couple minutes to air out.

Remember: This is a normal occurrence and doesn't affect your Matic's performance. By following these simple tips, you can keep your robot vacuum running efficiently.
